Somatic Trauma Resolution & Healing

Trauma is healed through the body.

Emotions are embodied experiences that keep us in fight-flight-freeze or heightened stress until they’re processed with compassionate presence. Experience somatic breathwork to release tension, trauma, emotions, and stress, and open up to more presence and creativity. Trauma is healed from a place much deeper than words and that’s this work. Feel more alive in your body, lighter in your mind, and unbound to the past.

Don’t just heal, live.

Healing isn’t just about removing the pain; it’s about finding what will keep us going and having meaning and fulfillment in life. That’s this work. We’ll work together to use your past as fuel and future as inspiration. Through my exploratory process, a natural β€œcall of self” emerges: an inner purpose that keeps you open and resilient to life.

One of the tools I leverage is psychosynthesis, which is a spiritual psychology emphasizing a synthesis of inner parts for coherence. Psychosynthesis is the original parts work modality before Internal Family Systems (IFS Therapy) but offers a more spiritual understanding of your true self, because otherwise it’s not the true self.

Archetypal & Evolutionary Astrology for Insight & Inspiration

My astrology readings are meant to help you connect to your soul’s cyclical journey around the wheel of life and beyond the material veil, connecting heart and mind for coherence and inspiration. Face your patterns, light and dark, and have more grace for your experiences. Gain deeper self-awareness and insights into the myths your soul carries and the grand narrative in which we’re all a part of. This is about uncovering your complexity in a way no personality test can.

  • Astrology is the study of the stars (the meanings), whereas astronomy is the laws of the stars (the facts). Astrology is ultimately the understanding that the cosmos are living, the universe has a mind, celestial holography is the nature of existence, and time is cyclical and has a quality to it, an experience.

    Birth charts, also called natal charts, are the map of the cosmos at the exact moment and location of your birth - the energy and vibration the universe sounded at that very moment. It is your spherical coordinates in spacetime, and you are the celestial holographic projection of these coordinates here on Earth so infinity can know itself. A birth chart is the observer’s perspective.

    This is the archetypal map of your subjective awareness. Where most psychology or personality frameworks simplify who you are, astrology allows you to walk through your authentic manyfold complexity.

  • I'm an archetypal and evolutionary astrologer, both psychological and spiritual, using the western tropical zodiac and primarily whole sign houses. I also incorporate Ancient Hellenistic Astrology and Jyotish (Vedic) Astrology.

    My approach is a fusion across these styles, from ancient to modern, esoteric to psychological, and technical and intuitive. I work with archetypal energies and cyclical themes, so actual astrology and not simplistic generalizations. I importantly take a mindful and holistic approach.

    I use evolutionary astrology, but I don't concoct past life narratives (feel free to ask me if you want to hear my rant on this). I talk about your soul journey, your spiritual journey towards meeting yourself, and time/space fluidity and you can interpret & integrate that however you choose.

    Astrology that is just a regurgitation of one specific study of it, rather than a real intuitive grasp paired with an understanding of the sky, completely misses the true underlying wisdom and mysticism embedded in its universal and eternal art. No one invented astrology and its source is not a textbook.

Meditation, Mindfulness, or Contemplation Training

Learn to meditate on your own, without the need of a guide, guru, or any gadgets, from compassionate presence to contemplation to consciousness expansion. Meditation is not the point of meditation though, so I teach the wisdom of mindfulness, engage the energetics of the subtle body, and guide the art of spiritual contemplation to source your own inner wisdom.

  • Mindfulness - Meditation is not the point of meditation. In any of my work with meditation, the objective is always (1) compassionate presence and (2) contemplative wisdom. So in learning meditation from me, you'll learn the wisdom of presence.

    Breathwork - We can incorporate breath for both embodied contemplation purposes as well as nervous system regulation. Our breathing patterns are often keeping us in heightened states but we can retrain our breath to settle the body-mind, with a meditative mind as a natural effect. 

    Consciousness - You don’t need psychedelics to trip if you can master your mind. For more experienced and grounded meditators, we can delve deeper into journeys, lucid dreams, illusory form, or non-local awareness. Compassionate presence and contemplative wisdom are still always my focus or it’s just another delusion at best and unsafe at worst.

    Contemplation - For more experienced and grounded meditators seeking to expand their spirituality and connection to something larger, we can delve deeper into self-enquiry, disidentification, centering prayer, and more.

  • To get a personal mantra similar to Transcendental Meditation (β€œTM”), see my on-demand mantra course.

    Your personal mantra is a vibrational frequency from Sanskrit with no specific meaning or dogmatic context; it's a sound based on the position of the moon at your birth and is recited silently to yourself to aid in meditation. This is often a much easier method for new meditators that I always recommend!

    If you’re interested in the Christian Contemplation version of this style of practice, then I can teach you sacred word prayer in a private session.

Death can be extremely overwhelming for both the dying and their loved ones, often leaving us skipping what really matters as we get caught up in logistics, lost in feelings of grief, or overwhelmed with fear and loneliness. I offer non-medical healing support during the dying process to fill in care gaps from traditional services. 

I am a trained "death doula,” a trained conscious dying and grief volunteer with the Living/Dying Project, and a trained and active hospice volunteer with VNS hospice in New York City. I'd be honored to help with navigating fear and loneliness, compassionate death and dying companionship, and end-of-life spiritual and emotional guidance.

Face death with compassion, presence, and honesty. Death is a sacred journey, offers an opportunity for true healing in letting go, and is the ultimate entrance into the mysteries. Enter with dignity and grace (and a friend).
